My folders are chewing up my pants pockets and I thought this was a pretty good solution. I'm wondering if anyone else has tried this

thin leather over the lip of the pocket to prevent fraying and running down the outside to lessen wear due to the clip.

Feedback?
 
Your design looks effective, and I'm sure it meets your needs.

There are tactical pants with leather reinforcing for the edges of the primary pockets, on about 1/4 inch of the pocket edge. Perhaps this design would be more attractive and less attention-getting? I was looking at an online store listing for them earlier today but can't find the specific web page now...
 
My job requires me to wear a white uniform so yes it's attention getting. But I've never been questioned about my knife before so I don't worry about it
