Recommendation? Pocket pin/butterfly clutch?

I would like to secure a small leather or kydex sheath inside jeans pocket, by using plain pin and butterfly clutch. Pin going trough denim to the outside of pants.

However - I am afraid the standard pin and clutch will by
a) too weak
b) too bulky (on the body side)

Is there a specific "heavy duty" pin and clutch, or maybe a specific item that would suit my needs?

Thank you. I know them.
But that is not the point.

lets say i have agrussell woodswalker sheath in backpocket.

I would like to PIN TROUGH the the bottom part of the sheath and trough pocket material.

that why i thought about butterfly clutch.

The more heavy duty something is the bulkier it will be.

It would probably be easier to add some snaps to the material so it chokes up around the sheath but can be undone to remove for washing. Maybe even snap the sheath directly to the pocket.

I would say the butterfly clutches are pretty unreliable if I count the number of pins I've lost.
