Now that I'll soon have a Pocket PowerPlier "on the way", what is the chance of ever seeing a Pocket PowerLock? I have a feeling that it would be an excellent seller for SOG, as the PowerLock is such an excellent multi-tool, but is just too big and heavy for some people as a daily carry.:).

And a question for Ron:
Is there anyway that the scissors from a PowerLock would/can be made to fit a Pocket PowerPlier? (I'm pretty "handy" with my Dremel Moto-tool...:D.).

I agree. I liked the looks of the Powerlock a lot, but it was just too big for my hands. I'd really dig a smaller version with the following tools:

1. Needlenose pliers
2. Saw
3. File
4. Small plain edge blade
5. Scissors
6. SAK style awl (with sewing hole)
7. Bottle opener/can opener
8. Ruler

I don't care much about the screwdrivers. It would be for outdoor use.

Buzz,
Have you looked at the Pocket PowerPliers or the full sized ones? They are a little (or fair bit) smaller than the Powerlock? I am not 100% sure what tools will and will not fit in though...
Ron would be better able to help you out on that.
He has ALL the toys...

I received my (Deluxe) Pocket PowerPliers today, and damn...I REALLY like this SOG tool!! (I REALLY think that SOG needs to take a STRONG look at making a PowerLock the same size of this Pocket PowerPlier, 'cause that would be totally EXCELLENT!!).

Hey Dann,

A "Pocket PowerLock" is not currently in the works, but I certainly agree with you!
Ron,

Email me the direct phone number to Spencer so's I can have a talk with him about a Pocket PowerLock.:D.:D....I REALLY think that it would be a "top-seller" for SOG!.:).

Hey Dann,

I don't need to give you Spencer's direct phone number right to his desk. Just call Directory Assistance and ask for "Spencer Frazer's direct phone number because you want to talk with him personally."

You'll have as much luck doing that as calling our SOG receptionist! ;)

Or you just need Rob's luck!

I just thought of something; I CAN email Spencer, and get around his phone-call blocking posse THAT way.:).
