I am trying to decide on whether to get the regular or deluxe; either way I want to change out some of the components so I had some questions.

1. I'm not familiar with the sog multitools; how are the components changed out and how easy is it?

2. Are the dimensions between the regular and deluxe models the same and one just has more components? or is the deluxe a little thicker?

3. What is the maximum number of components I can fit into each?

Thanks.

One more question. Will Sog put a pocket clip on the powerlock? I don't like to carry one in a sheath. I would love to carry it clipped to my pocket. The weight would not bother me in the slightest.

Here are some answers for you.

1 - The components are easy to change. You just need two 1/4" wrenches to take the bolts out that hold the components in.

2 - The regular and deluxe are the same dimensions, the only difference are the components in the tool. The deluxe has a large screwdriver and 1/4" socket driver.

3 - Tricky question. You can fit one long component and I think three small components in each handle.

At this point there are no pocket clips available for the PowerLock or any of our tools. I have heard of people having success attaching a pocket clip but I am not sure what clip was used.

Thanks Chris.
I'll have to practice my welding skills and add one myself.
