I was thinking about getting a P-38 or P-51 can opener to use as a can-opener occasionally but moreover as a prying/screwdriver tool for jobs that I don't want to beat up my SAK for. Would the the P-series openers be good for me, or what other pocket prybars would be good for me?

Pocketwrench II by Latshaw Tools

Spanner, 1/4 hex driver, ruler, prying end, extra wide screwdriver, nail puller...
Can be found for $6 on eBay

Get the best. Atwood Prybaby. Available in steel or titanium, I've got the steel, probably would like the titanium better because I've only done very light prying with it and its lighter. Works as a pryer, a bottle opener, small screwdriver and nail\staple puller.

Peter Atwood has a bunch of very cool stuff on his website, he is a member here so you can link it you look up his name.
