So I finished another sheath today. This one is for my SS, and is a pocket sheath with a clip. This is my third sheath.

I can slip it in a pocket, or inside the waistband.

I will have to hit the edges with a sander when I get home. Turned out ok.

Nice work, I wouldn't mind a pocket sheath/game warden combo. I have no talent with leather sadly, you're lucky.

Thanks for the comments. It really feels good to make one and have it turn out half way decent.
If I can give it a go, anyone can do it!

That looks real good.

Where did you get the pocket clip?

I was at a pawn shop the other day. They had these cheap clip sheaths. Very thin leather, but the clips looked pretty good. So I bought three of these. One with a blued clip, and two smaller stainless clips.

I will probably make a slip sheath for the GW soon here with a clip to.
They were cheaper to buy the sheaths and take the clip off, than to order clips and pay for shipping. The great thing is that once you un stitch the clip, you don't have to cut another piece of leather or cut one and punch holes. Just reuse the same holes. Saved some time, and I did not have to rivet the sucker to a piece of leather.

Sweet, looks real functional!

Man, I wish Jerry had done a straight edge Wharny like yours instead of the curved blade......

I wish so too. The ss makes a great cutter for some situations. The ss would have been even better if it was taller from edge to spine with a flat edge. Sort of a santoko blade shape crossed with a warnie. With a bit different angle of the blade. No drop, to make for better food prep.

Taking the curve out of mine took some work, but I would still like a taller version with less blade drop on the angle.

by hand, on a sheet of glass with sand paper taped on it. Took a while, but honestly, It may have taken longer to hand convex my FBMLE.
