Hi, folks.

Just recently made a video about pocket size multi-tool saw comparisons, and like to share you all.

I personally perceives pocket size multitool as a MT usually around 3in-4in in length, lighter than mid or full size multitool, and is perfect for pocket carry.

The tested MTs includes:

Leatherman Juice CS4
Victorinox Alox farmer
Victorinox Huntsman
Victorinox Camper
Victorinox Swisschamp
Victorinox Delemont S17

While there will always be variance in result because it involves human and natural material, I try my best to take all precautions necessary to yield meaningful results.

And the following short video is the hard earned result of 2.5 hours of hand sawing, hope you like it:

Wow, thanks for putting in the work! I have a leatherman wingman and replaced the scissors with a saw. They come in handy more often.

The next video will include some popular mid size multi-tools, and one of them is the Leatherman Sidekick(which is sibling to Wingman, but with a saw). ;)

Sweet, I'll be waiting for it.

Comis,

Nice work. The results align with my own experiences.

The saw on my Leatherman Blast come in handy when working in the shop or when doing work around my property and I don't want to fetch a proper tool. Sort of a "get-me-by" sort of solution.

But for winter ski trips where I plan on feeding dead fall wood into a wood stove, I carry a Silky.

It's really a day and night sort of comparison.

Thanks for watchinig! You are right on the nail about the comparison. After sawing with many MT saws for collectively more than 7 hours now, I really grow to appreciate how efficient and fast the Silky pocketboy can saw. MT provides great convenience, but they are never direct substitute for the real tools when the chips are down.
