Pocket-sized prybars? (No, not Striders...)

I think a well designed, quality pocket-sized prybar might be a neat tool to have, especially post 9/11.

Know of anyone who makes them?

R. W. Clark makes one out of titanium. I have one as part of my EDC. Here's a link to his first post. You can probably email him via his and order one ($30). It's around 4" long and very handy.

I know Peter Atwood used to make a model called the Prybaby. You might be able to get one if you ask real nice in the "Knives, Wanted to Buy" forum.

Flat 7 inch chisel from the tool section at Home Depot for about 12 bucks.

It's not overly sharp to begin with, and it's a flat chunk of steel. Hefty to boot, but cheaper than anything else that fits the description. Doubles as a bludgeoning device.

I've done some light prying with the spyderco fb03 lum tanto... only a 1/4" spine on it.

That does look like a nice (and USEFUL) little tool!!!

Does the wrench work as advertized?

Thanks,

-John

The Pocketwrench looks like a good idea but wouldn't it work better if the wrench cut-out was reversed so the action would be "pull and turn" rather than "push and turn"?
