it does look a lot like the emberlit but I have to say that is cool as hell. very useful, small and so many options!

Looks like a total rip off of the Emberlit.
I'll stick with my original Emberlit...if I need something smaller or lighter I will go with the Titanium Emberlit.

Cool that it fits in a tin, but yeah that's pretty much a knockoff Emberlit. And I don't want smaller--I want one the size of a shoebox! Bring on the Emberlit hibachi!

It is. They changed a few details, but it is a smaller copy. And it uses a perforated baseplate that Mikhail, the Emberlit inventor, tried and rejected because it did not give a good burn and let hot coals drop through.
