I want to know some production folders which are really solidly constructed, 3.5-4 inch blade, price doesn't matter since I want to know all the ones you can think of.

Knives which are both really heavy and solid, built like the thread title.

Anything by ZT, for starters. The Spyderco Valloton sub-hilt folder. It doesn't look too big but when you hold it you realize how THICK it is. The CS Recons have gone through a few model changes but the one I have is plenty tough. I always found the design fugly but people have said the CS AK47 is very solid.

Another vote for the Adamas/ZT series. A lot of CS offerings are very sturdy even if they aren't super thick

BTW I used to play pocket tanks, what an addictive game!

Cant leave out the BM 755 MPR. One of my favorites.
ZT 560 is a massive piece.
And the Emerson CQC-15 is a beast.
Don't have an Adamas, yet, but I hear you can bang on it as well.
Plenty of custom tanks out there. Bring on the pics.

I have both zt0560 and benchmade Adamas. Both big knives buys the adamas is truly a tank!

Slightly under 3.5 inches in blade length, the Fallkniven PXL weighs around 6.2 ounces and is one hefty gentleman folder.
I happen to own one, which is why I feel it is a "tank".

If you like balisongs, the BM30, BM31, or the BM35 will work nicely for the given criteria. I think boker has some great mini knives that fit the description although they are somewhat lighter.

all striders, another vote for the zts, but you should really check out the three sisters forge beast. It kicked the sebenza out of my pocket!

My Favorites:
Benchmade Adamas 275 Definitely the thickest feeling handle of this group, with a very stout blade, probably not the best slicer but feels the most solid overall
Benchmade Contego 810 (CPM-M4) Just got this one Friday, and am really liking it, nice thick 4" blade, lots of jimping and grip.
Spyderco Manix 2 XL (Still nice and beefy with a handle that really locks into your hand, but FFG so it will be a better slicer/cutter than the others)
ZT 560 (Elmax) The most expensive by about $100, but some great features, probably the nicest overall as far as steel, KVT, titanium, etc.
ZT 200 Very solid and feels the largest overally, super beefy and solid linerlock and pivot, just as smooth as the 560 IMO at half the price.
