Looks like there's also a wire scraper cut out of the blade's kick.

You say it was a military option...Was it private purchase or issue? Do you know approximately when it was made?
 
Is that an 11 mm wrench at one end and an 8 mm at the other? If you flip it over are they the same or different sized wrenches?
 
Very interesting indeed. Nothing beats a built-in dedicated wrench to turn nuts and bolts.
 
Exact timing of the issuance, I do not know. Plant "Zarya" in the village Davydkovo. Because the instrument is not the retail price, then selling them in the free was not.
Wrenches are all different, all 4 pieces.
 
Interesting and thanks for sharing. You don't see multitools from the USSR very often.
