What knife has a pocket clip that is easy on slacks? Please help as my spyderco (bob lum) has now officially ruined two pairs of dockers. I cannot wear a sheath knife, dont want to wear a neck knife and the idea of sticking a knife waaaayyy down in my pocket is repugnant and defeats the purpose of carrying a tactical blade in the first place.

If you like Spydercos, try to find a pre-98 Endura or Delica with the plastic clip.

Some of the Cold Steel's have plastic clip too.

Get a belt pouch. My LCC DA came with a little nylon belt pouch. TAD sells a belt pouch that can be worn horizontally, and I have an SOE pouch for my Strider AR.

The Kershaw Vapor or Vapor II are very smooth and friendly to clothing and would look relatively professional with khaki's in a work setting.

Don't clip it to your pocket. Clip it inside your waistband, where the clip will be camouflaged by your belt and/or belt loop and fraying damage will be minimized.

Either carry your knife in your hand (not too practical, 'eh?), or clip it inside your back pocket. It's the up and down movement of your leg that is causing the clip to rub on your britches, and by cliping the knife to your back pocket, the effect of that movement is reduced quite a bit.

Also you might want to try smoothing (rounding) the clip with a file and some sandpaper. That MIGHT help.:).

Stainless steel Spydies are very easy on clothing. That includes the Endura, Delica, Police and others.
