Looking for a pair of pants that are decently appropriate with general\casual attire, with the maximum number of pockets available. Pockets can be external or internalized, though internal is preference. I've looked at a few different brands of EMT pants, and they have a good number of pockets, just looking for more variety then just 3-4 cargo pockets and the usual 2 hip pockets and 2 butt pockets. Any suggestions?

I wear Army pants at work; the winter weight canvas holds up better than any other pants I've owned. The pockets are great too, but I wouldn't wear them to an office-type setting.

Have you seen the Fire Hose work pants at Duluth trading? I haven't worn them myself, but they're supposed to be made out of the same material used for fire hose casing. The pockets are like most work pants, usual pants pockets + cargo pockets.

If you need something very durable, I sincerely doubt anything is tougher than Filson's Tin Cloth...

Man I hate shopping for clothes, and I rarely have the nerve to try anything new. You're a brave sort.

Durability is secondary to the number of pockets, just looking for something with as many as possible, but I will look into those.

The fire hose pants from Duluth Trading Co. have deep-wide pockets, cargo pockets with open top pockets on the front of the cargo pockets and a hidden inside pocket at the left front waist band.
Very good for one who carries a lot of gear.

I have the Duluth pants, and I'm very happy with them. They have more pockets than you can humanly need.

Geraldo (or anyone who has them, I guess), how heavy are the Duluth pants? I noticed two weights, lighter the better for this heavily insulated Southerner. One more, it looked like they only have one cargo pocket in the illustrations, on the left side. True, or faulty illustration? They look nice, so I'm hoping fo rpositive feedback. I'm kind of hard to fit, so I'm leary of online purchases, but its hard enough to find stuff off the rack that I take a chance every now and then.
