We all know about the Case Pocketworn knives.
How bout showing us your Buck pocetworns.
I always love seeing knives that have been carried and loved for years.

I myself don't know anything about Case pocket worn knives but I will take a look at them. The one product I do have is Gibson guitars..It seemed incredible to me Gibson would on purpose make and sell classic models from the 50's and 60's that had real cigarette burns ,damaged and worn finishes AND sell them at s higher price! Now the true vintage models due to collector's chasing and bidding up prices have become scarce are now increasing beyond the cost of the 'Gig worn' reissues it still seems funny to me..

Buck doesn't use jigged bone on regular production offerings, so it's kind of apples to oranges. But I get the point, show us your good old well used, often carried and much loved Buck knives. Dings, dents, rounded edges, resharpened blades, etc.

Here is one of mine. Buck 302 Solitaire. It lives in my pockets with coins, car keys, flashlights, money clips, other knives, other crap. There is something special about "pocket worn" knives

The second one from the left took me 30+ years to wear out. I sent it in to be repaired when I realized the lock did not work anymore. It came back with a new blade. I've been forcing myself to be practical and not sentimental. The old me never would have sent it in.

Is it just me? I only like old worn out knives that I made that way.

I cannot stand knives that have been badly sharpened, especially if they have any recurve that doesn't belong. I also don't like the ramp at the ricasso if there is no sharpening choil.

An old knife takes on it's own identity based on the owners habbits. It's almost a signature.

I may win this one. Buck 450 - Google them to see what they looked like new - hint, they were covered with black rubber.

No I did not purposely remove the rubber coating, that is all pocket wear. Yes the knife still works great and the hard red plastic is ribbed, thus still very non-slip. I really love this knife.

Go easy on that thing! It probably only has about 20-25 more years of life! ;-)
To be honest I don't carry it much anymore. Honestly just when I'm feeling sentimental. I do go easy on it now. Its been a good knife with a lot of fond memories.
