Are these available in B&M stores? If so which ones....

Does anyone have any feedback on these? How they hold up, ect...

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like a handy bit of kit. At that price you can beat it up and not fret over it!

I picked up one at a local Lowes store on a close out sale for about $1 less than the price on the link. I've carried it in my back pocket for several years. Works great for opening paint cans, something I do a lot of in the scene shop. It also works well for holding a hex (or square) nut while tighting a nut & bolt. Handy enough that I would buy one again.

Can someone confirm that it's a full 1/8" thick? I need something to do some light prying with, and this might just fit the bill (the other aspects are a big plus, too).

Anybody have some spares they can hook me up with? When seen over here, they go for exorbitant prices.

I just put a caliper on mine and it came out to 0.118". Not quite a full 1/8", but the thing is plenty strong enough for any leverage you can apply to a 4" long bar.

And I agree with all of the positive comments above. It's a great little gadget.

I picked up one of these at my local True Value about a year ago and carry it in the belt pouch with my Leatherman SuperTool. It has proven to be very durable and has often been just the ticket for the job at hand. It is well worth the price, especially as an adjunct to another pocket tool.

I was able to snag one on Ebay for $4.99 (that's total price including shipping! ) I just mailed out the Money Order today.

This should tide me over until I can afford an Atwood Prybaby... :D

Well, my Pocketwrench arrived. Seems like a neat little tool. I don't really expect that shiney finish to hold up, but then I got it to abuse, so that's not a problem.

The only disapointment I have with it is it looks like Latshaw Tool is having them made in Taiwan now. I kinda like it when my things have U.S.A. on 'em.

Edit: I have found some that were made in the USA...I musta just got lucky....

looks like a cool tool...

I'll look into snagging one, never know if it'll work with the rest of my tool set!

I just bought ome on ebay from wrightscreek. The listing said that it was made in the US. We'll see in a few days.

These swiss army ones any good?

Ryan,

That's the first time I've seen one of those. I love my Pocketwrech more for it's prying abilities than its wrenching abilities, but That Swiss Army tool looks like if you held the bottles just so, you could open TWO beers at a time!!!:D
