Oh Lil’ Temperance oh Lil’ Temperance
You answer my fix for it is a virus I suffer with
I fondle you fondly and give you a flick.

Oh Lil’ Temperance oh Lil’ Temperance
You give me such joy
I fondle you dearly my little knife toy.

Oh Lil’ Temperance oh Lil’ Temperance
Please never leave me
Before I met you I suffered completely.

A darkening of demons doth come,
Their evil wishes to devour,
Up from the pit, up from the slum,
Seeking to steal souls and capture power.

A glinting blade,
Flashing from fast,
A moving shadow, gleam then fade,
A demon screams, and other stand aghast.

Black blood, splatters the alley walls,
As a Civillian blade, finds its mark,
The screaming dies, and nothing to hear, but demons fleeing footfalls,
The last one cowers, fearing the blade, wicked as tooth of the shark.

Shadow wrapped, the man steps closer to his demon foe,
Slipping from his pocket, blued steel,
Back he thumbs the hammer, and comes a deafening blast, And lo,
The demon does fall, leathery chest explodes, and its head meets boot-heel.

Wiping down the blade, and stowing his weapons away,
The demon hunter looks unto the moon, and says his thanks,
To Sal and John Browning, for helping him through another fray,
And then dissapears, into the night, once more to hunt demon ranks.
