Does anyone have this knife or experience with it? I've been thinking about picking one up for a while now, it seems to be a sleeper of sorts.
3.25" blade
D2 @59Rc
3.5mm thick blade
Lockback

I don't have one personally but I know someone who does, it's extremely well-made and a tank/bank vault hybrid without feeling like a giant chunk of steel... In fact for a long time I have wanted the Pohl Force Alpha, a similar, larger version. Can't afford either one right now but I handled the Bravo II, it's pretty epic, in my limited experience with it.

Thanks for the reply. A question, do you recall any kind of hot spots or issues with the pocket clip at all? I'm also tapped financially, this past week was bill paying time.

For me personally, no issues, and the pocket clip was one of those wire ones that I think are really minimalist and neat-looking. I always like to give the clips a little pull, this one was tight, but the wire clips are also really easy to clip onto the pocket one-handed, in the ones I've come across/owned, so that's a really nice thing about them. I mean, I can do that with all clips with enough practice but for me it does go a bit easier with those wire clips.

Good to know. Comfort during use for me is a big deciding factor on whether I keep a knife or not. I have run into issues in the past where a knife looked really nice, only to get it in hand and find the handle was not optimal for my hand. I'm going to look into some reviews online and see if anything pops up there.

I hear you, I buy mostly online but that's part of the risk... I would check into some videos too, but in my travels I haven't found a lot of them, and those that do, I don't think the posters know/really use knives enough to give an opinion about hot spots, that I have seen. Best of luck, I'd be interested in what you find. The Pohl Force stuff is mysterious to me.

You're right, it is a bit mysterious. I think mainly because the products are marketed as being "Military/LEO" items primarily. I buy stuff online as well, simply because the knife shops local to me are primarily gun shops and their employees know little if anything about knives and more about firearms. Also, the prices are not competitive at all.

Sounds like you face the exact same issues I do with my local stores, sir.

Pohl Force knives are well-designed with high-quality manufacturing by LionSteel. The D2 used is Bohler K110 (D2). I have the Pohl Force EOD Mike One Survival with a 3.75" blade (Thickness: 0.20") of Niolox Stainless Tool Steel. It's titanium frame lock with the wire clip and contoured G-10.

Some time back, I was looking at both the Pohl Force Bravo Two and the Bastinelli Creations BBR2. Both are about the same size, made by LionSteel and using the Bohler K110 (D2) tool steel. Bravo One is 440C but Bravo Two is K110 (D2).

Blade lengths and thicknesses are similar. I picked the BBR2 because the blade was a little shorter and thinner, titanium frame lock vs. lockback, 3.6 ounces vs. 4.2 ounces and G-10 vs. molded FRP. Bravo Two only comes in tanto blade and costs less than the BBR2.

I have the Alpha 2, very well made, strong lock, but this it's pretty big, a beast of a folder.

I was close a few weeks ago to buying the tanto, but I noticed the other recurve and was thrown off. ;)

I wonder if Pohl Force will make a non-tanto Bravo Two like the Bravo One. If you're going for tanto, the ZT 0620 shouldn't be too far off.
