....I am in Australia right now. I was a little giddy about the Ganzaaa knife offer. I did the math on the time when I should be on my ipad.....9pm your time, 1130am next day my time.

I left work to be home for the Ganzaaa start. I get home at 11:15am. To Blade Forum, Forums, Busse Combat Knives......GO, GO, GO! What? Pokie is an hour early. She can't do that! I quickly send my email. I will lodge my complaint later. I check a few comments under the GO GO GO post. Nobody is complaining about Pokie not knowing what time it is.......Wait a minute. Is Ohio in the eastern time zone. I caclulated central time zone. I re-read the clearly articulated instruction. Oh, its me. AUGHHHHHH!

I am sorry I doubted you Pokey.

When I was young I wanted to be smart.....I am over that now. What a goofball.
 
Tough break, Ohio is in fact Eastern time. Look at the bright side-you're living in Australia! Hopefully you get what you want.
 
The rules for the Ganzaa clearly state the Go will be posted between 9-10 pm Eastern time, it does not matter what time zone Ohio is in.
As long as you sent your email in you have a chance. Last Ganzaa I was in a few minutes before the GO and still got my knife.
 
Awww I am sorry you had complications with the timing! Hopefully you were still able to score :thumbup:
 
The proper Hog answer to missing a 'Ganza is: I was drunk, hung over, and slept through it.
 
Thats why Pokey was in charge of the Go button. We were drinking in Jerrys office and we would have mssed the entire thing if Pokey hadnt been handling it.
