Well, its finally starting to look like something. Just got all the floor joists up last weekend. Putting up the roof rafters this weekend. I've got a general idea of how it goes together. Just hope it goes smoothly.Maybe I should read that chapter again....
Wish me luck!

Oh you lucky dog !! I will be sliding sideways by machinery for at least another 6-7 months. Lookin good though , I'll bet you can't wait to get in !!

What's up for this weekend Ed? If Laura can keep an eye on the "monkey man", the Powerhouse and I will come up and help out.

Mete: I've noticed a tendency I have to forge more on the right side of the blade leaving my edge slightly off center. I've tried everything, but just can't seem to even them out. The "leaning barn" idea is my latest plan to correct this insidious imperfection. If this don't work I don't know what I'll do.....

J: Looking forward to having you all up, and really appreciate the help. If you have a framing square, that would be helpful. I have one around somewhere, but can't seem to find it.

David, Shane, Mike,: Thanks for the kind words. I can't wait to get this thing up and start playing in it this winter. It'll beat the hell out of forging in the snow.....

That makes sense ! I'm only 100 miles away, I should come up and inspect it.

leaning barn. Ever time you drop something it will roll to right, saves time hunting for things :D :D :D
