Was taking mine apart last night doing its first real detailed clean since I bought it a year and a half ago and realized the inner liners appear to be interchangeable. If liner threads were to strip where the pocket clip threads on, it would be nice to have a backup way to still be able to secure your clip by flipping them, so I did this to confirm my thoughts when putting it back together. The beauty of the lockback and its symmetrical design! The endura 4 pocket clip is also interchangeable. I had one laying around in better shape than the one on my police so I threw it on. I also had some upgraded t8 pocket clips screws from knives Plus for the endura that also work on the p4 lw quite nicely, just careful to not over torque them since t8 heads may allow you to apply too much force. The bronze washers knivesplus also sells for the endura I can confirm fit on the p4 lw and work great. Also the back spacer standoffs look to be exactly the same as the lock bar pivot so I swapped some to see if it would be any issues there but nope everything works great; good to know that if you have an issue or wear with your lock bar pivot you technically have three backups on the knife with you. I also filed then sanded down the most rear portion of the lock bar that protruded up a bit from the handle when closed, to kind of round out the sharp overhanging edge and give better fit and finish. I did not mess with the lock up interface at all even though it kind of had a sharp, less precise looking machined edge on one side despite me being tempted to smooth it out. It could still probably use a tad more filing to be perfectly flush at the end but at least it's not nearly as noticeable as it was. Now I have a squeaky clean smooth oiled and blue located p4 ready to go.
