Fayetteville, NC - Police are searching for a man accused of brutally stabbing a puppy. The puppy, just 8 wks of age, died from the injuries sustained in the stabbing incident.

According to reports, the man responsible for this horrible act is Cory Lashan Price, 26. Price's address is reported to be 2210 Caramel Drive.

According to authorities, Price was arguing with his girlfriend - when she asked him to leave, he allegedly grabbed the tiny pup, threw it in the air, and then stabbed it (the sex of the puppy was not provided).

By the time Animal Control officers arrived, the puppy was hiding in the backyard, suffering from serious injuries. Though veterinary care was provided, the injuries were too severe and the puppy was eventually euthanized.

Now, the man responsible for this horrible killing is being sought. An arrest warrant has been issued by the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

An individual capable of such cruelty is a danger. Please help circulate this man's face and information so that he can be brought to justice before he hurts, or kills another innocent creature.

Police have indicated that Price has several tattoos on his body, including that of Superman on his right arm. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at (910) 323-1500 or call the anonymous TIPSLINE at 484-TIPS (8477).

An early stage killer gettin' his chops on the weak and defenseless. Truly sickening. I have to change my thinking as this is too negative.

Love and peace to you all.

i have been an animal activist - especially domestic animals and wolves for about 10 years now and i am active in animal rescue for 9 years (well heavily anyway) so i get a lot of emails and alerts.

if this is to harsh please delete - i was just trying to get information out to as many as possible in hope the police might get an anonymous tip.

I know i am an iron worker and a bit rough around the edges - but believe it or not the guy in the review video often goes to the woods behind the house to cry/ shed tears; sometimes the flood of terrible news I receive weighs to heavy.

that's why i cant be and animal control officer it wouldn't be long before i ended up in a rage and go to prison.

wasn't meant to be a downer or start debate

That's not too far from me.

Hopefully they will catch the guy, and he will get stabbed in prison.

If he will do that to a puppy, he would do the same to a person.

If I witnessed the act, I'd have a hard time not shooting him.

Eric, your post is fine in wanting to get the word out, and finding this guy should be paramount since he's on his way toward hurting someone else. It was just my frame of mind at the time. You're putting up good posts and doing good work. Keep it up!!

Peace

Rick

Please keep in mind what this site will turn into if we put up every tearjerker story we come across.

like i said it is fine to take down - i put it several places - after i thought maybe should not be here that's is why i said please remove if not ok - i would remove for you but dont think i can

Sadly, I can actually *relate* to this story:

Late last year, while coming home from brunch (ironically), I actually saw a KITTEN thrown off of a highway overpass! I raced out into the street to get him before he was hit, and the little critter died in my arms.
When I called the police, I remember how they said, "How I'd love to get my hands on that guy." All I could think was, that *I* certainly wouldn't: who'd want to touch him?

I had to take a hot shower before I could even feel clean enough to think violent thoughts. Meanwhile, there was a shooting at the University of Texas, the following day, and the shooter killed himself. I can only hope it was the same guy....

I'm glad I don't live there.

If I found the guy, the police would get him in kit form.

You're just a worthless punk if you have to take out your anger on something so defenseless. This is one of the few things that makes my blood boil.

Cantina's up for Open discussion Big Eric & I feel its good that you posted this. This forum covers a lot of area geographically & may just help. One person who posted in this thread said that isn't far from him.

What that individual did was cowardly. Punishment for him should be to be thrown to a pack of hungry wolves That's just wrong to do to an innocent 2month old pup. Stay blessed Eric & enjoy your vic perk cocktail to help with your in pain
