Police Baton?

I've seen the Police Baton listed as a clearance item on one site. Is it going to remain in production?
Are there 2 versions of it?

Haven't heard anything about it getting taken out of production. They do have it on sale at several places. There are two versions of it. The regular one, with a plain handle. And there is a second version with a ribbed handle that was advertised on the Cold Steel Christmas flyer at lynn thompson's special projects site.
