I have recently obtained a LNIB Spyderco Police carbon fiber, plain edge. It has 517 on the blade and hand written on the box. I found a post from 2004 that indicated there were 600 produced. Wondering the value of the knife.

To clarify, there were 1500 CF Police produced. 1200 right handed one, 600 PE and 600 SE, plus 300 left handed ones, 150 each PE and SE. As for value, we RU's aren't allowed to ask or answer that here.
 
You have to be a paying member to ask about values. I'd Google it and search eBay for closed auctions.
