Police III custom scales - suggestions?

Im looking to get some custom scales done for a Police III by Cuscadi. Preferably in G-10, but im open to suggestions. Its meant as a gift for police officer, so i am thinking blue G-10 scales, maybe the same hue as the blue paramilitary 2? Ive also considered lightning strike carbon fiber, but im worried they'll be too slick.

What material and what color would you recommend. Im mostly leaning towards the blue, because blue = LE.

I havent seen a lot of pictures of custom-scaled Police III, so feel free to post some inspiration!

I'd say dont be afraid of the slickness just get em to cut a nice pattern and blast it well to get some texture. An why not both lightning strike CF with a Blue G10 Inlay stripe in the CF. I love the G10 Police, so please post pics whenever or whateve you do to it.

True, blasting them adds texture, but the more polished they are, the more pronounced the copper threads and carbon look will be.

I like the idea of a blue inlay stripe which could be interpreted as the "Thin Blue Line".
