Police model blade swap?

Now I think I want a Police model as well as the Military :)

However, I have fallen in love with the discontinued G10 handles and the VG-10 steel, which I have with my Delica. I was wondering...if I buy a G10+ATS-55 model, as well as a new SS+VG-10 model, is it possible to swap the blades? I could then sell the SS+ATS-55 somewhere and recover some of the cost of the second blade, and I'd have a G-10 handled VG-10 steel Police...can this be done?

I dont like the flat grind on the police g-10. I like the grind lines on the ss model with vg10 on the g-10 as well
 
The SS Police would have to be destroyed to get the blade out and then it might not even mate well with the G-10 handle. The lock might be sloppy, there might be play, etc etc.

Also, Spyderco, to the best of my knowledge, wouldn't do this for you. You'd have to do it yourself.
 
Yeah, figured as much.

If the frn Endura and the ss endura are any indication, the handle and the knife might be a different size all together.
