Police Model Experience

This is about the fourth time I related this in Blade Forum, but I didn't know about Spyderco's Forum, so I thought it bears repeating.
I'm a Firefighter/EMT running primarily EMS in a small NJ town. About a month ago, we had a call that required fast care in a very limited area. Our patient was between his car and a row of bushes and due to the nature of the incident, the Police Department wouldn't allow the vehicle to be moved. This basically came down to 3 EMTs crowding into a space that only one could really fit into. When it came time to move the patient, I decided that more room was needed and proceeded to cut down a few of these bushes. They were rooted with branches that were about 3/4" thick, probably 6-8 of them.
I was carrying my Police Model at the time as well as a Leatherman WAVE. While the WAVE has a saw, the Police Model was faster to get to deploy.
The knife cut through those branches like a CHAINSAW! I used 2 strokes maximum on each branch, and had cleared away all of them in well under a minute! I've used the same blade to chop down offending shrubbery 2 times since that incident.
I have well over 100 knives, including some pretty expensive custom models, but since that day, I make sure to have that Police Model with me whenever possible.
I thought I'd relay that story, hoping that the person(s) responsible for the knife (Sal?) would read it and know that once again, they worked beyond expectation.
Thanks!
Dave

That's my two cents. Hey! How come you're giving me change?

Fireprez:
Just a question...which version do you carry...Flat-ground, saber ground? G-10 handle or stainless? Plain or full-serrated? (okay, that was 3 questione)

Jim,
To be honest, I don't know the difference between flat ground and saber ground. The blade is all stainless steel (including the handle) and only the tip of the blade, about 1/2" is plain edge. The rest is serrated.
The serrations did all the work.
Here's a picture I just took: http://www.users.nac.net/fireprez/police.jpg
The blade is marked GIN-1 Stainless.
The model that I have was probably purchased about 6 years ago, if that helps.
