Are the crinkle coated Police Recruits A2 or INFI?

I believe that pretty much anything crinkle coated is INFI. Not to be confused with crinkle cut, which is how I like my fries but its fairly hard to do with a crinkle coated Busse. :D I'm sure someone who knows for certain will chime in but i'm going to say yes.

You know, I used to have a crinkle coated PR and while I had it I ate some crinkle cut fries and at that exact moment in Ohio, a woman lost her kidney and died of a spider bite at the same time. Weird, wild stuff.........

randucci, I believe it is the pattern of the holes that is the best indicator that I have found.

The small-large-small sequence is INFI AFAIK.

I believe that there were very few crinkle coated PR's that were ever made, I know that they discontinued making them shortly after they started crinkle coating. (as a matter of fact someone on ebay once stated that there were only 4 made, I know this is incorrect though as I've seen 4 in one place and I had one ;) ) The fact that they are crinkle coated and the fact that the crinkle coating was started after INFI started being used exclusively would lead me to believe that all crinkle coated PR's are INFI. (unless they have been recoated)

I hope that is confusing enough for you. ;)

:D:D

At least ten crinkle coated, and at least ten bead blasted out of the last mystery batch of 73 found when the Lazer cutter changed or moved.

Is what my notes from that period of time tells me that Jerry told me at the time.

o0o Secret, small big small, get a bucnh of Busse's together and you will see different sizes of tallon holes in most of the knife types as well.

Also the ocasional Secret crap under the slabs as well,,,Jerry has his own ways of making sure what is what on his differing batches of knives.

His story to tell not mine,,,,I have notes for public consumption and things I am not to say.
