Police vs Military action.

I recently scored a Police 3 G10 NIB. I was just wondering about the action on this, it seems real stiff. It also looks like there are no bronze washers. I haven't taken it apart and it doesn't look like it's been taken apart either. Is there some sort of break in period? Or something else I'm missing? I tried some Militec and it doesn't seem to help much. Compared to my Military it's a slug. The Military flies open almost like it's assisted. Also I did buy it NIB from a dealer so I doubt it's been messed with.

Mine is still a little stiff but I EDC a Millie of some version most of the time, so it gets alot of safe time.

The hole/pivot relationship and the double-bend lock back spring contribute to the drag on the P3 opening.

Mine got a little better with use but it's still a little slower and less easy to open than my Military. You can see the same thing with the Endura and the FRN Stretch, different hole location and spring strength makes the E4 feel a lot less smooth on opening.

Also, the P3 does have PB washers.
