polished blade... any way to make it...

Is there any way to hand rub a polished blade? What would you recommend? I want to put some type of finish because a polished blade shows everything mark, scratch, etc. Not very pretty for a user. Any thoughts?

How polished is it? Simichrome and Wenol are two fantastic polishes that may suit you.

If you are after a satin finish, there is a nice how-to video by Aaron Gough on Youtube.
I have done a few satin on my knives. Not from polished though.

it's not mirror polished , but it shows any and every scratch. Not the best pic to show finish, but it may give you an idea.. i don't see any linear rub marks or the like for a finish and would put it to be some type of polished just not mirror polished. Click thumbnail for bigger pic...
