Polished blade questions

I just got my small solar wind Sebenza's blade replaced from a BG-42 to the S30V. There's nothing wrong with the blade, but I kind of noticed that the polish on the BG-42 blade was a little more shiny than the polish on the S30V. Is that the case for all the S30V blades? Do they just not take as high of a polish as the BG-42's? Thanks.

Holding the two polished blades side by side (BG-42 and S30V). It seems that the BG-42 may be a bit shinier, but only a very small amount. The shine looks really close to me.
 
I have a few Sebbies in both steels.

After you use the S30V for a while, please let us know whether you think there is a noticeable difference.
