Polished CF scales for the 550?

Ive already seen the CF that are sold on Hinderers and Monkey Edge's sites, but those are peel-ply/checkered CF scales, that frankly look like regular G-10.

Anybody know of a place or maker that sells polished CF scales?
 
Contact BarryH on the forum. He did a satin CF scale for my first 0551 last year. He may be able to produce a polished CF scale for you.
 
Prop - another option would be to buy one of the peel ply versions and polish it out yourself. It would take some work, but that stuff cleans up quite nicely. :thumbup:

Hey Rev

I thought about it, but i have no idea how much work it'll take. Im also wary of how much material i would have to remove. I dont want the end result being scales so thin, that there is not enough thickness to countersink the screws, if you know what i mean?
