Anyone finished with a polished edge on their Rat Cutlery knives? Not sure what that 1095 steel likes, gonna use my Izula for EDC and for fishing, hiking alongside my RC-5.

Thanks & Aloha,
Kerwin

Just got them polished

Here is an izula sporting convex at top and v-grind at bottom. The polished edge looks like shiny steel as anything else. I guess it all depends on how much effort you put into the polishing and the grits size range you go through.

Ill probably go down to 2000 or 3000 grit on my Edgepro.
Thanks!

Now how is this?? :D

used 240-600 grit sandpaper to start the convex grind
after that i used micromesh 1500-12000 to polish it up and used some chromepolish to polish it up some more :p

Result= mirror finished convex grind that cuts like a hot knife true butter :D
