On my small Sebenza, I sharpened it using the sandpaper and mousepad method. I finished on 2000 grit wet/dry paper and got a nice, polished edge. When comparing that to my large Sebenza which was factory sharpened, the large cuts a lot better than the small, but the small will shave hairs relatively easily. What I don't get is why they will both shave hairs easily, yet when it comes to cardboard and paper, the large out performs the small. Is it because the polished edge doesn't "bite" into the material being cut? Or is it something else? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
