I had planed to polish the bolster area also, but can't decide now, after seeing that shining pivot screw.
What do you all think I should do? Polish the bolster area, or leave it as it is ?
Thanks for your opinions, Dan.

Looks great as is, a significant step up from the ones from the box..

A mirror polish blade to go with it would be incredible... Nicely done!

Looks great! Always liked that look on my Kershaw Sapphire. Eventually I will have to get some anodizing done on my 0801!

It looks great, I wouldnt polish the bolsters. I love the trasnition of the anno on it from dark to lightl wouldnt mess it up. After i saw yours last night at 2am i took the black of my screws with just a brush finish (i heat anno'd mine to blue/purple so its very similar) i was tryig to imagine how it would look with the spacers polished, it could be very cool!

I am with you all, I will leave the bolsters as is. DosOne, I was going to flame color mine also, as I had very good luck with my 0550, and 0560. But I could not get the steel lock bar piece off, and I was affraid the heat would cause the detent ball to fall out. So I sent it to B F member Maprik, and had it annodized. He does Great work !
The hardware only took 45 min's or so to do. Stripped the black off on the wire wheel, a light sanding with 600 grit, and a touch to the buffing wheel. Left the clip polished for a few pics, but I will most likley acid etch/stonewash it.
Thanks for the positive comments Fellas. Dan.

Love the silver-colored pivot, screws and clip. I actually like the standard titanium colors of the handle and your great job on the hardware is something ZT should've done from the beginning. They did have a silver clip at SHOT Show introduction. However, they seem to take some cost-saving measures that don't make sense. The Zero Tolerance label on the handle is not like the recessed 3D at SHOT Show. I think instead of the cheapish one now they would've been better off excluding it altogether for cost-savings and enhanced the looks. I hope they'll go with silver-colored hardware in the future for titanium handles.

I don't know what's up with the lock bar insert, I just left it on when I torched it. It turned a nice yellow/gold, I was worried about making it softer but its steel didnt hasnt seemed to soften. Why is there a screw if you can't take it off? Looks cool though.

86, after stripping the black off with the wire wheel on my bench grinder, I lightly sanded with 600 grit, and buffed them with "white rouge" on the buffing wheel, then finished with Flitz, and a rag.
