polished my bk2

hey guys i finally got tired of all the uneven coating my beastk2 had becouse the rigorous workouts i put her through so i was bored and decided to polish the bottom and leave the top black i think it looks cool like that. what u guys think? and sorry for the crappy cell pic its that i had to brin the resolution down or else my phone would take ages to upload.

Purdy! I polished the grind on mine as well (the rest is stripped and etched though)... One thing you'll notice on that polish is that you will get patina spots quickly if you use it for any food prep. I don't really mind that... but the polished look is awesome.

thanks guys for the kind words...im glad u liked it i was doubtfull of not polishing the whole thing but it came out pretty nice. . and yeah it will spot up if used on food but i can hit it with a quick polish and itl be back to shiny! Or even strop it on its flat that works too haha

lol sandpaper,beer, mothers polish and elbow grease becouse i didnt use a chemical to strip i had to sand it of so pita
 
very nice. That's very shiny! I kinda like the 2-tone.

I have debated polishing my second 2...but that is a lot of work and I use my knives hard, I would end up ruining all that labor LOL

I will prolly get bored some day and do it.

should try it thrill really give it a classy look. .and its no problem i use them hard too just at the end of the day get a rag and more polish compound and itl be all gone. .i went fishing with it and dehead plenty fish when i got home my bk2 was all black and stained and i just rubbed it out with the paste and there it is in the pic haha shiny
