Hey guys just got this Lum Chinese Titamium the other week and I love it! I decided to polish up the titanium scales...the flat silver was a little too boring for me! Here's how it turned out, sorry for the crappy pictures I will try to get some better ones eventually. Its not perfect but I think it turned out pretty sweet considering I only have about 2 hours invested.

Nice - now you need to put a mirror edge on that baby!

Bob Lum Chinese folder is great. I think I have got 3 of them. Ti will scratch - so you are likely to spend more time polishing it in the future. ;)

I'm not generally big on mirror polished finishes but that Lum looks amazing - Great work, and great photos.

Thanks guys!

Yep figured that out when I was reassambling it! :( This won't be a hard use folder so I'm not too worried.

Love it. The Lum Chinese is one of the sweetest looking designs in all of knifedom, IMO.

Very simple actually:

Started out with some 600grit wet sanding and worked up to 1500 then finished it off with some blue magic metal polish

Im very satisfied with the results.

Thanks very much! Did u use a blockand hand sand it or did you use a palm sander?

Beautiful job!

Great work. Did you polish anything beside the ti slabs? Clip? anything else? :)
