Polished up nicely. Schrade+ LB7 1982

Had this bouncing around in my safe. Decided to try some light polishing to get some green tarnish off it.

Given to me by my Aunt’s BF at the time for my Birthday. He gave to me on Aug 14, 1982 which was not my birthdate but I know it was that day. Never carried. Never cut anything. Cool to find things like this.

Dating through the serial number was very difficult. The links on the net are so irritating. Anyone have a link to a serial number lookup for Schrade? Maybe it doesn’t matter. They don’t have birthdates, and I know the rough date already.

I got an uncle Henry lb7 in 1986 or so, as a prize from work. well used, nice knife. Looks like yours but no number on it.

I did and it's all a big mystery to me still. I am pretty sure I have what is called a 3 pin, but some of the information tells me it's impossible to have a 3 pin in 1982. (EDIT: maybe I read it bad info somewhere about moving FROM 4 pin to 3 pin to save labor. It does appear there are 80's 3 pin confirmed....it's a big thread)
