can anyone give me tips what I should use etc.
I'm using my polishing wheel with compound but it's still dull. any help appreciated

what type of micarta is it? linen and paper should polish fine canvas you need to finish with scotchbrite pads or steelwool :)

Listen to the Gann-Man! Micarta will polish pretty much like steel, but you have to be more careful to use a buff thats clean and well-loaded with compound. The only real trouble I've ever had with micarta is with the white ivory color. A couple boring hours of wet sanding will take care of darn near any micarta problems imho.

NOOOOOOOOOO  don't do that  finish with some steel wool or a scotch brite pad .do not BUFF :( it won't look good :(

Well I tried some diffrent stuff I polished and didn't think it showed enough "grain" then I took a blow torch I don't know why just did. I turned them whiteish, I kinda liked it, then decided to polish agin this time the grain effect I was looking for I'm very happy :D
Thanks for all the help and suggestions
