Hello everyone, this is my first post. I'm sure being new I will ask a lot of stupid questions, but hopefully I'll get the hang of the forum in no time. I have been a knife enthusiast for as long as I can remember, however this is my first membership into a knife forum. I looking forward to learning as much as I can from all of you. My knowledge, even on some of the simple things like sharpening is lacking to say the least.
My question.
I have a number of Non Stainless steel blades that I polish from time to time with metal polish to keep the blades in good shape. It seems to work well to keep the blades from tarnishing and rusting over long periods. Does this hurt the resale value of the knife if you start with a statin finish but through the years turned it into a semi mirror finish from polishing.
Thank you
Bill
