I made this video a few days back, thought perhaps some of you might enjoy the ideas?

Basically it demonstrates how to take a painted pocket clip off the knife, polish it to a high luster, and re-install it in under 10 minutes with tools you probably have laying around: Torx driver, rotary tool, felt buffing wheel, strop compound, cotton cloth.
For those that want a more subdued satin or brushed finish, simply follow the buffing with some fine steel wool. This extra step may push you over 10 minutes depending on how "satin" you like it.
Hope you like it.
