Political forum

My apologies if this has been brought up before. When I do not log in, I am able to view Political. But, when logged in as a non-paying member, I can not access the forum. Is it meant to be this way?

Since w&c is not available to guests, I assume there is a way to make Political the same. Also, wouldn't this mean that Political is still being indexed by the various search spider doohickies?
