I have read the reviews and I realize the are not the best. But I would like to try out a Fortis style without plunking down the $$. I was wondering if anybody has bought them and who would you recommend or who would you stay away from.

If you don't want to post here, drop me an email.

Among my two Poljot from two shops, poljot.com (http://www.poljot.com) sells a decent, reliable watch with only a little additional price. Original Shturmanskie replica with no chronograph, no calender sells at $80 there.

I think it's a fair deal thinking of guaranteeing Poljot watches for months. I don't mention of the other shop, but only say what you get for what you pay for... Hope this helps.

I'm looking for a place in th U.S. I'm a little leary about sending money overseas or having to return something to Zurich from Chicopee.
