No, I’m just including a few that were mentioned in first poll. If people really feel they could be contenders at winning, I will include them. I may run one more preliminary poll and the next will be the final poll.
 
Of that list, I am going to go with Cold Steel. Not because I am all that into their OK folders for EDC, but I am an absolute junkie when it comes to their goofy stuff and tomahawks. Their specialty items are kinda like retail therapy/treat yo'self fodder for me. Bad day at work? Have Amazon send me a tomahawk to refinish. Got a giftcard to burn? Why not a spear? Pile of carboard boxes piling up in the warehouse? Let's buy a $20 polymer boomerang to throw at them. Honestly, it is the lack of this zaniness that was obviously the brainchild of LT that I knew would eventually go missing once CS was purchased. I mean they still offer some of it and do a few vids, but it doesn't have the zeal of the old PROOF (don't forget the all CAPS) DVDs.
 
Too easy for me - I picked the companies I have the most useful knives from, poll #1 - Spyderco because of the variety of good steels in their well designed and executed models, poll #2 - Cold Steel, because of their heavy duty folders I’m using.
Now you need a poll strictly for Chinese companies, because I think this is where this whole thing is going…
Id be curious to see not which company will get on top, but how many people will vote for it… ;)

I hear ya… I have the boar spear with ash wood in the corner of my office. Will I ever need to stab a boar? Probably not. Is it cool as hell and under $72? Hell yeah!
