Dear all,

Please see this picture of Dwight Yoakam:

www.countrystars.com/artists/dyoakam.html

Then please see Rob in Will Fennell’s top photo in this current Camillus thread:

www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum21/HTML/000278.html

Same round face and grin, same sleepy eyes, same lanky frame... Now I ask you: Is that Dwight Yoakam, yea or nay?!?

I won’t cast my vote just yet.

I was thinking more along the lines of Chris Ledoux a real cowboy of sorts...Chris has a neat music video out called `Stampede' even my youngest daughter enjoys watching it.

Yes Justin, worked around Lander and Riverton, Lysite, Moneta, Lost Cabin, Bairoil, Lamont, Wamsutter, I tramped around that country for 4 or 5 years. Thats where the Drapers and Ed Fowler live, great folks all. I actually like the desolate places, I would like to move to Zortman Montana someday, you have to take a dirt road to get there, pretty lonely!

My wife told me I looked kinda like Billy Jack, I told her I was much better looking.

I am not so sure Rob is telling us the truth, cause how else could he have a mercedes and a jet and not be a rock star.. unless maybe he is charging us three times the going rate for talonite....hmmmmm....??

Happy Easter!

Rob,

Let’s get this straight: even though you’re supposedly just an anonymous joe, somehow you’ve managed to meet stars like Chris Ledoux AND Arnold Schwartzenegger (trivial pursuit: how many folks recall THAT thread!). Yet -- as Will notes -- you have never been in the same place with Dwight Yoakam? So how is it that Tom Mayo’s talonite shipments are always delivered by Dwight Yoakam’s lear jet!?

No doubt neither Chris nor Arnold will recall ever having met a “Rob Simonich” ... that’s a nice touch in your alibi ...

Everyone,

Notice how “ROB” is always depicted with a BLACK hat tilted slightly UP on his forehead, while “DWIGHT” almost always wears a WHITE hat sloped DOWN on his forehead. It’s consistent through nearly all of their photos. Nice symmetry, don’t you all think? Rob, is that how you try to distinguish your two “personas”?

Also, does anyone else find it peculiar that the sling blade in the movie was made of talonite? Another “coincidence”?

Peter Jennings: “Dwight, is it true that, in addition to acting and singing, you make sharp, pointy things?”
Dwight Yoakam: “My lawyer has instructed me to not comment on that matter.”
Jennings: “Well, is it true that you once belittled Arnold Schwartzenegger’s strength and virility to his face?”
Yoakam: “Where did you hear --? Peter, this interview is over.”
