What are your top three favorites of each, traditional and modern?

Modern:

Of course, this doesn't mean I don't like or don't buy others...only the top 3 of each.

This leaves out combat & fighting knives. I suppose they need their own special categories in a separate poll. Come to think of it, there are a lot of other "categories" not covered in this poll. Where do you put Khukuris and knives specific to other parts of the world - like Korambits from the Phillipines?

I have other favorites like REKAT and Himalayan Imports and some others which don't seem to be covered.

I would consider the Kukhri (sp?) and combat knives in another category from the two here. I guess by traditional I meant the traditional American patterns...probably mostly pocketknives and such.
By modern I meant like the modern "tactical folder" type knives.
I'm very curious to see who likes both modern and traditional, and what brands each. (or if you only like one category, that's cool too).
