So 10 days ago we posted up a thread asking folks to show us their best knife pic of the week. We thought instead of announcing it as a giveaway we would make it a surprise. The pics submitted by everyone were outstanding! We narrowed it down to our top 7 pics and want you folks to decide. We are not announcing the prize yet, but I promise it is very generous!

Thanks guys it was taken along the blue ridge parkway on one of my evening motorcycle rides, no editing at all came straight off my Sony pocket camera.

I was drawn at first to the simplicity of #1, but that scene in #5 and with that handle nailed it.

Still a couple of days left so you never know if another pic could make a run but it looks like #5 is clearly the favorite. I honestly thought #5 and #3 would be the 2 that would get the most votes so a little surprised to see pic 3 tied for second and way behind #5. All great pics though. It was tough narrowing it down to these! Thank you to everyone who has voted so far!

On Monday morning I received PM from Whitty telling me I had won the photo contest. I thanked him for doing the contest and gave him my address then asked what exactly did I win? The next PM from him said that I had a choice between a new Hinderer XM-18 or a Half track!!!! I almost fainted, couldn't believe what I had read, I've never won anything in my life! So a BIG THANK YOU to Whitty, Also Thank all of you that voted for my picture. Here is what I got a XM-18 3" slicer with tri-way pivot.

Thanks again Whitty! I will never sell this knife I absolutely love it!
