I thought it would be neat to find out what everyone uses to sharpen their knives. I have a Spydie 203 that I use on serrated blades but my Razor's Edge Pro kit comes out when a fixed blade needs sharpening. How about you?

Medium and fine Crock sticks in a V stand
For serrated an Ultimate Edge diamond stick.
I have others but I don't use them much

Spyderco 204 for serrations, Edge Pro Apex for EVERYTHING ELSE!

There are only two types of people; those who understand this, and those who think they do.

Lansky set...5 stones: extra coarse through extra fine. Does a fine job, but can be a pain in the nose to get started.

Sharpmaker 204 on the way. I'm anxious to see if I'll like it as well as most others seem to.

I also use the medium and fine crock sticks in a v-stand for kitchen knives and really dull blades (other peoples knives). I do most of the finish work freehand on fine and ultra fine ceramic stones, and then strop on leather treated with green polishing compound.

I use the Edge Pro sharpening system can't get any better.Very quick once you get used to ti which isn't long

Spydie 204. I also have a GATCO TriSeps that I carry with my keys and stuff.

A belt sander with 120 grit belt followed by a cotton buffing wheel loaded with white La'Hommedeau, a Sharpmaker 204 or a Lansky Diamond Hone Set or a set of Crock Sticks or my Gatco Tri-Seps or my Diafold or my Eze-Lap Diamond "M" Rod or my Chef's Choice Manual Model 450 or...etc., etc, etc. whew! I need a break...

I use a Spyderco Sharpmaker 204. If the knife is really bad (Like my parent's kitchen knives) and doesn't have a crazy blade (Like my Axis-Lock 710) I use my belt sander (1x42" 150 grit, I made it myself with a vacuum cleaner motor, it's ugly!) and then i use the Sharpmaker.

I sharpen freehand on a Norton India stone that's half medium and half fine, finishing on a hard black Arkansas stone.

Razors Edge Pro sharpening kit. I still need to buy the Sharpmaker for the recurves, though.
