Which one do you think is best suited for personal defense - the Police or the Military? Why?

I do not trust my fingers not to release the lock on the military. Its a little too easy to get at. Thats the only reason. I trust a lockback more in this case. Endura would do me just as well as the police, but the police has G-10 which is an advantage.

Police because I don't like liner locks for defense. But make sure and get one of the g-10 Police models (IMO).

If I carried a knife for personal defense, I would rather have a lockback than a liner-lock. So I voted Police.
However, there is the additional consideration that the Police is 4.25" long, which may put it just past the point of legality in some jurisdictions...

The length of the blade is irrelevant in Sweden. No knives are legal to carry unless you can state a relevant purpose, such as a carpenter etc.
We have not (yet) got any stricter laws in the aftermath of 9-11, but soon we'll have to apply for knife licenses... :barf:
We are only allowed temporary handgun licenses nowadays. Every 5 years, we have to reapply and restate the purpose of the possession. Idiotic, if anyone decides to take a break from shooting activities, like I did. I received my licenses before they made the laws stricter, though.
