Pommelle Sapele

Have any of you ever used an African hardwood called Pommelle Sapele and if so, can it be stabilized? I was looking around on E-Bay and noticed it. good looking wood with a lot of small eyes like Birdseye Maple but a much better color.

Check with Mike at WSSI.I believe it stabilizes just fine.I've got a piece somewhere but couldn't find it to answer your question.

Thanks, I did check with Mike at WSSI and he advised it could be stabilized.
