as for the "cant beat em, join em" crap, it isnt Jr.'s fault that his mom basically screwed up his chances of ever winning. Jr. will have an owner who gives a crap, and the best parts in NASCAR. I wouldn't be surprised if Jr. won 2 or 3 cup titles in the next 5 years. the 24 has a TON of competition
 
What the heck...At-least the Seattle Seahawks beat the Chicago Bears today.:D.:D.

Hmmm, the 24 looked pretty good today, a fair bit better than Jr. did, or was Jr. trying out some new aerodynamics?

Jeff's driving was great, he made some amazing moves, I think his car just wasn't up to it.
 
Jr was borderline comical this year. Hell I didnt see Truex Jr. having much trouble being with DEI. Jr wasn't even the best driver on his team, and he will be the #4 driver with his new teamates next year.

Gordon set a record for the most Top 10's in a season (30), was the regular season point leader, averaged a 5.1 place finish for the Chase, and would have smoked the entire field by 400 pts or so if NASCAR wa still working off the old point system. This was probably the 24's best season ever!
 
yes and if you watched ESPN and SPEED any this year, you woulda heard all the crap Jr. went through. He's a good driver, he's proven it. The past two seasons havnt shown that though.
 
Jr. is a good driver, he just wasn't showing it on Sunday. And he has taken a lot of crap this year, I think he just decided to put it all into the car before he gave it back to DEI.

I don't think I managed to get a good shot of his car before he busted it up yesterday.

Hendrick will be a good opportunity for him. It'll really give him a good chance to prove himself on his own.
